They are real nice trucks, but like said before the electric is probably the most beginner friendly. Problem is if you have a short budget it is much less affordable.

Figure for the nitro you need:
-truck
-battery for ez start
-glow plugs
-fuel
-who knows what else

for the brushless:
-truck
-two matching lipos
-lipo charger

the benefits for the brushless though is that you arent going to have to tune, break in, and then keep buying fuel, then eventually replacing the motor and glow plugs when they fowl or keep tuning some more. Just charge those two packs, throw it in, and enjoy a half an hour of play time. Clean her up while you charge the two packs again and then go have some more fun.

As you can tell Im a brushless lipo fanboy at this point. Havent owned a nitro in forever. Almost thought about buying a cheap 2wd nitro just for fun now and then but now Im on a kick for buying a savage flux.
