1) Clean components.
2) Plenty of greasy grease (like Associated black) on the whole of the thrust assembly.
3) Not too much silicone grease (e.g Associated Stealth) on the main diff balls, coated evenly around them.
4) Tighten the diff until gently hand tight, put in the car, and adjust to your own taste.
Works for me.
