Default Re: mr4

The MR4-BC Special is a fusion of the MR4-TC (belt drive, not MR4TC-SD), MR4-BC (not 'Special') and MX-4 (with a bit of MR4-MT thrown in for good measure). Basically the suspension arms, bulkheads and hub carriers are MX-4 (legacy) components. The chassis is TC, the shock towers, front bulkhead cap, wing mounts (and many other bits) are BC/MT components.

Yokomo is a master of component re-use. Don't get me wrong ... they don't sit on their hands, they are continually refining and tweaking and routinely release 'special' components available as hop-ups.

It is true that the current BC Special kits are not 100% cutting edge either. You can buy some items (hub carriers most notably) that have been developed for use by Yokomo team drivers.

Yokomo Rocks!

'nuff said,
MX4
