Default superchargers? on nitro

ok so i have found out they they make superchargers for nitro engines, and ys i know they've been around for five years or so. Anyways whats the deal with them they say they give you a 15 to 20 percent horsepower increase and more bottom end but what about the whole fact of leaning the engine out too much. i saw a video of a guy that torched and engine because he had it too lean and said that the high speed needle couldn't keep up no matter what i belive it was an o.s. .25. the last thing i thought about is if you have air being forced into the crankcase like that and then into the combustion chamber it's going to mess up the scavenging that a two stroke eninge needs to run right?

so if anybody could end this for me once and for all cause if it really is worth it than hell i'll get one but if im looking at 200 dollars for a supercharger than another two hundred dollars for another engine in a month whats the point.

thanks
