What method is that you are refering to Ben ?

40 mins - say 6 or 7 tanks for a tight GO isn't much. I would be looking at running rich with good temps - at least 105 C (foil head if neccessary) for around 12 tanks. Then just leaning it a little bit (1/16 - 1/8) for a couple of tanks, then a little more for another couple of tanks. Put a mild race tune it at 20 tanks. Once you can turn the motor over in the buggy from underneath while it's hot, then remove the break in shim and put a proper race tune on it.
Might seem a bit long winded, but your motor will love you for the easy, rich, hot break in later in it's life.
