I was told by live chat that the cells bouncing around from 4.19 to 4.2 volts was not a problem? Is this true? I do not want to have to return these unless there is a problem, I paid for express shipping for a reason, I do not want to have to go with no truck for a week or more.
Another issue I have with these batteries is yesterday my truck was going pretty slow and seems like it was running on 7.4v batteries. Once I put the batteries on the charger they read 3.6v per cell. Should be plenty of power but once re charged they worked ok again. I have not got them down that low again but I am thinking that when they got that low they could not hold voltage under load, thus running very slow. I know this is not normal because my thunder power lipos do not and have not done this or have the charging issues these have been giving me.
I guess I don't quite understand by what you mean by "Bouncing" A reading of 4.19 to 4.20 between cells is nothing to worry about. The only time you should begin to worry is if a cell is more than .5 volts out from the rest of the pack. Then at that point if you have a good quality charger it won't even let you try to charge the pack if they are that far apart. If your seeing this minor fluctuation in voltage it's normal and nothing to worry about at all.
As far as what the packs are doing during the run I really can't comment on that at this point because I have no idea what your using the packs in. A bit more info on your set-up is always helpful to us so we can better determine if there is inf act an issue. Also what are you using for a charger?
