In my 12r5 I cut sections of sheet lexan into the shape of the chassis' battery cut outs. Then I servo tape the lexan pieces to the flat bottom of the battery. I've done the same in my sedans and never had one slide out. I mount my 1 cell SMC packs this way with the flat section down and it's working great.
