That break is the result of the bottom of the engine case being too close to the chassis. When the chassis and engine case meet with enough force, from casing a jump or whatever else, the "ears" will snap off.

Yours isn't the first to break like this. I saw it happen to another Go engine recently (on a Losi 8ight) . After looking at that one, the engine case did indeed sit low enough for that to happen. Go needs to lower the "ears" a bit or lap the bottom of the case more thoroughly.

In the future, put some washers between the "ear" and the engine mounts to make sure there's enough clearance.
