I know this is an old topic, but I found it while doing a search for a car balancer. I'm looking into making one myself, with a possible computer or other display device interface, a PSP or Gameboy for example, something which doesn't need a mains power source.
I had this problem with my Recoil on Sunday, and just realised earlier tonight that my Blaze has been suffering from this from day one.
