Just got back from the Nationals and I saw box stock SC10s with stock tires doing pretty well against factory setup trucks. Don't quote me but I think there were 8 SC10s and 2 Slashs in the mains. Goosebumps were the norm but I did see a couple sets of Prolines. I qualified 2nd and I run the stock setup for hubs. I did put one degree of anti-squat in. Truck was dialed in for the mains. Do you think with the upgraded tires that are slowly coming out the hub mod may not be necessary anymore. Or is everyone finally getting use to these trucks and figuring out it takes finesse not brute power to get these around the track.
Side note: You put anything in the hands of factory team drivers or very experienced rc'ers and they make them look so good on the track.
