mcsquish- i'm an old racer it used to be 0 degree shims and 2 degree shims for the older associated style front end. Parma used to sell a cool shim set for that front end hope this helps.I'm running a Quad 12 (12L conversion) and I've found that the newer style reactive castor works better overall just my .02
