The only problem with that is slop in the front end of the car. If you don't have all the play out of the front end and the springs with the right amount of preload (very little) you can't get an actuate reading. Plus if the tire is coned the inside edge won't lift as fast as the outside with the slop in the kingpin. But with the car on a tweak station the car is sitting as it runs on the track. I believe you get a more actuate reading as to what the car is doing that way. As for scales switch it to grams it's reads finer. Plus how many RC racers do you know that have 2 pennies to rub together since we're all broke!
