Default HPI RS4 ORIGINAL : NITRO

Good Evening All,

I am extremely new to this hobby, I have an HPI RS4 original car, I bought HBS24001 HPI Nitro rs43 blue aluminum shocks to replace the front shocks on my car, they came with 6 screws total, 2 long screws ( which I;m assuming goes with the 2 adapters onto the top of the mounting point on the tower )and 4 small screws as well as 1 little rubber tube, the bottom of the shocks has a swivel joint built into the eylet already, Do I need to change the ball joints on the shock tower ? or remove them completely and just use screws to mount the bottom of the shock to the shock tower? As of right now the ball joint already attached to the shock tower are too small for the shock eyelet. Thnaks for any insight!!
