you may be right.
but no other car on the market is completely wearing out a diff shim in 3 gallons of racing
i love my losi and ill never change.
but i have already replaced all the dogbone pins with mugan ones and they last heaps longer
i have been re-running my tests on my lightweight driveline gear and at the moment my aluminium axles are lasting almost as long as the losi steel axles.
i have pulled the axles out om my old cars and put them into my truggy now.
i have even noticed that the spur and pinions are wearing alot quicker than my origional 8T did. i have already had to reset the rear diff accross
all i have to do now is find a different brand shim for inside the diff cups and hopefully ill have some quality back in my car
it just really pisses me off that they went to the effort of changing the plastics to improve durability but slipped so far so quickly on the metals
