The Inferno GT is a blast to drive but it is in no way comparable to the R40. The only skills that will translate over to the IGT from the R40 would be engine tuning and setup adjustment the two cars are so fundamently different that very little is the same other then what I've mentioned already.
The GT class cars are very different from 1/10 sedan they handle very differently and driving them is more of a handful (at speed anyway) then any 1/10 sedan I've ever driven. But they are a blast to drive and they look great going around the track in groups of 4 or more.
