I'm glad that should work for you. Tape is the way to go, because lipos will slide out of straps on a flat chassis. I use battery strapping tape. It's fiber reinforced but a little stronger than the generic fiber tape. Besides the standard lengthwise loop over the battery and under the chassis, I put a strip along the right bottom edge of the pack. I align the lipo with the right edge of the chassis (helps in balance too). That keeps in in there even with heavy impact.
