It was 3 gallons old, I bought a new rod when I got the engine, and since its a GO with the kung fu pinch I should have replaced it.I told myself that to, but I tried to stretch it for one last race.

I did everything I could to ensure its long life (preheating for half its life too)

Don't get me wrong I LOVED the engine. It RIPPED, could hang with or beat anything down the straights, loads of bottom for a 7 port and got 10 minutes a tank and I'll rebuild it to keep as a backup. I just don't mind spending the extra $ now on an engine where I don't really have to worry about that.

Just think they could easily resolve the issue just by easing the pinch on them a little
