For you...yes. For a competitive racer who doesnt mind replacing engines more often and needs the extra performance...no. The Vspec is plenty fast at 200-230. If you dont mind going through motors, go for it. When a motor runs hotter than its designed for (300+), the piston expands more in the sleeve and wears out faster and is also tougher on bearings due to the extra temp and RPMs. To answer your question that was already answered in your other threads, yes its too hot!! Try to tune 210-230.
