The Orion packs might be a problem. Top exiting wires might line up right under the top deck. Also the Orion is a little larger than some of the current lipos. The shape of the rear battery holder is rounded so the squareness of the Orion might also be a problem. Personally I do not have Orion LiPos YOu should double check and see how it compares to a standard stick pack for sizes such as hieght and width.
Tamiya doesnt like LiPo so I do not think that they were even thought about for this chassis. Tamiya outlawed LiPos at all Tamiya events and both Tamiya circuits here in Japan a long time ago. Tamiya would really like for you to use LiFe as its safer. I know Tamiya America runs LiPos in TCS but they dont here.

With those thoughts somebody will most likely come along and make a top deck for LiPos like the Orions.
