Good news that they are going to do the rough rider. Those were good cars. Granted the 2 step speed control was junk and it had issues with durability in the front end. I was never impressed with the Frog, had horrible front suspension and the transmission had a lifetime of just a few batteries. The grasshopper and hornet were OK as long as you didnt put a real 27T stock motor in them. Once you did that, they would break quickly.
I used to run the gears from my rough rider in my RC 10 with an early MIP transmission. Funny that the MIP was just tamaya gears with a thorp diff to fit into an RC-10. That then became the stealth transmission after the dropped the 6 gear rc-10 transmission.
