Apples and Apples
I'd like to put my two cents in on the CRC vs Rev3 discussion. I have both cars and find them both to be great race cars. I usually run both cars in practice and thier performance is generally about the same. I most often use the Rev 3 for the race because I have the indestructable Niftech pods on it and I have found the Red Knife pods to be too bendy. Sure, I could change the pods but then the Knife wouldn't be so pretty.
Last Saturday I tried some setup changes on the Knife and it was the best handling 12th car I've ever driven. I was quite pleased with it in the race. Now I need to try the same setup on the Rev3.
Much of the talk here is about how the Rev 3 is such a vastly superior car, but that's not my experience. All of the roll center and link stuff is true but not as big a difference as some would lead you to believe. The CRC is a very competetive car and the factory support is unsurpassed.
Bottom line-they're both great cars.
Now, when Doug sends my Quad 12.....
