Are you sure that you have the lowest bearing holder that associated makes? I have a Super F1 kit but I don't remember what bearing holders HPI included with them. I could be wrong, but they may not have included a complete set. You might want to try the IRS bearing holders they may lower the car a bit more but probably not an extra 2mm if you indeed have the lowest bearing holder available.
