A Truggy is more foregiving.The tires act like a gyro and let you run over stuff to make up for mistakes

That's not the case with today's truggies. They too go where you point them. But also soak everything up and have tons more traction than a buggy. Thay are also a lot more forgivng and stable.
That is why they are easier to drive, and won't teach you as much stuff as a buggy, like throttle control, etc...
