The front bearing on my modded, stock motor went out today after 2 gallons. Any one else have this problem yet?
I destroyed the bearings in mine after almost 6 gallons. The rear bearing failed, bearing cage came apart and it seized. I can rebuild it, but I don't think I am going to.

You typically fill the diffs until you just cover the upper cross pin of the bevel gear, you do not want to fill it all the way to the top as you need to leave room for the outdrive spider gear to fit without creating a bunch of pressure which will just force it to leak.
I ran again today, pretty happy with 5 5 5 .... might be my driving style, but the truck gets around the track pretty good now.
I am going to try the electric conversion one more time and see if I can get a setup with that...if I can, I have an excuse to buy a SC8e too...
