Yah, I hear you.

I'm still learning. I was in this hobby about 10 years ago, back when non-rebuildable stocks where statndard. I was out during College and moving a lot.

Putnams and Trinitys on Epics
Reedys on Tops
Got that

Still figuring out what cuts and spring combinations work with different kinds of motors. (independent of brush selection)

Did some dyno testing on two monsters that I have. One worked best with red+/grn- springs, the other with grn+/red- springs. I used 4499s for both with fresh cut comms. Go figure.

It appears that all motors will have their own personality. I need to figure out what spring/brush/cut combination works with which kind of personality of the motor.

ergo: a hole in the pos brush will give more RPM and eff. How does this impact a speed motor or a torque motor on the track? I'm just trying to suck as much info out of anybody that knows so I can do well in stock. (My driving is good, when I'm on, I can go a whole race and not hit a board, and only miss a corner entry line every other lap or so.)
