Stick with the big brands, Losi, AE, Kyosho, Mugen. and 10-12 hours sounds about right. Take your time and use a good quality set of tools, it will make the experience much more pleasurable. Do not use the "L" type allen wrenches most kits come with, you will not be happy. Follow the instructions and all will be good. Whatever your LHS carries parts support should make the decision for you.
