It comes with a few stickers. Won't hurt to put one on now an glue it later or if it falls off use another. The sensor has to be really close 1/8 in. or less.
You may have to mod the bracket to get it right. There's a green light on the receiver that comes on when the sensor sees the sticker so you can roll it by hand and see if it's working. Hope this helps.
