The ".5" signifies a 540 sized rotor in the motor. Going to just the 13t means you will be using a 380 sized rotor in a 540 can. Which is fine for light vehicles(2wd buggies/stadium trucks, I got one in my XXX-T). Also some tracks require a certain motor, IE your 13.5t, so a 13t(not sensored and not the same type of motor) won't be right.

As for the 1/8th, You can use the 80a or the 150a esc.
