in my opinion i would go with the .18tz. if you want alot of power even though the tz has it go with a picco .26 if you go with a picco you can strip gears but not often. i have a .32 on my t-maxx and the only time i have to replace a gear is if im lean on the bottom end on purpose to do wheelies.
either motor is good but i would probly go with tz to race/bash and the picco to race

i would say picco for bashing because it is way to much power for racing (depending on track). The 18tz i a great balance between the two.
