Do not follow the instruction, there seem to be some error on that part. Anyway unscrew the two speed adjustment 3 turns (both the 2.6mm screw), your 2 speed should enaged and now you can adjust it according to your track. The followings are what I have done to my 2 speed;
1) I have grind off about half the head and taper the 2.6mm screw cos when at 3-3.5 turn out, they are some slight contact with the 2nd gear. But make sure you left enough for your 2mm allen key to make adjustment.
2) Make sure your 2nd speed clutch spin freely in the 2nd gear
3) The hole on the 2nd speed is pretty small and try to enlarge it slightly so that you can access and see the adjustment screw easier. Hudy 2mm ball allen key is a good tool for adjusting the 2 speed as the shaft is smaller.
