The losi long wear alum. shoes with 4 gold worked ok and lasted quite a while for me. The best shoes i've found are the answer-rc shoes. They last about the same as the long wears, but the performance is much better. The shoes come with 3 sets of springs. Golds are .9, silver 1.0, black 1.1. I run a truggy and have found for me that 2 gold and 2 silver works best. Not to be confused with losi's gold and silver springs, these are lighter. Best of all you can purchase 4 shoes and 12 springs cheaper than buying just shoes from a different company. Check out answer-rcusa.com.
