Nothing needs to be brought up about Slash really, heads up starts are terrific, everyone is having a blast and most aren't taking it too seriously (me included!) I like running these just like the 1:1 big boys. Having a good start is key, almost more then not breaking. I finished second and a few times in the A Main i had to fight my way out of the pack and by that point Mike C had all the time in the world to build a lead I couldn't reel in.

As far as the brushless motors I am afraid it will open up a whole lot of excuses for people to run it in Spec...I try to keep an extra Titan around because they are cheap and who knows when they are going to blow. If we all agree on 17.5 brushless that is fine...some of us may have trouble running elsewhere and will have to swap back in a Titan/XL-5 which sucks. I'd rather just keep some spares. I am sure the only real advantage is the easier maintenance/longevity/runtime/etc and not performance but like the lipo debate no more drama needs to be added to RCHR racing.

Having a good continuous lipo, getting a good hole shot, being consistent and staying together are my top priorities. I would mention not bonking but Mike reeled me in after a few misteps within a few laps to challenge me several times. Not bringing the wrong TQ radio to the stand also helps out ALOT!

That is why MooCow and The Rust are running a DX3S...I had a moment of weakness at my shop and couldn't wait any longer!

Now my life is on ebay to cover the cost lolz!
