But wear at the crank pin has never been a problem at the Sirios and XenonR I used in the past.

I run in the .12 at Thursday...just to free it up for the upcoming EC-B this month. It had massiv pinch during the first few tanks...
I run about 1.25 litres that day and liked the performance.
Maybe it has a bit less bottom end power compared to the 2008 Picco/CRF...that was definately "to strong" at low RPM...BUT the Alphas now have the power from bottom to the highest revs.
I did not changed the gearing compared to my 2008...and I liked the Alpha's balance between torque and max power much more then I did with the older engines. No more worries at the straight and much better handling out of the corners...

The hardware:

- Kyosho RRR Evo 1.5 WC Team :-)
- Orion Alpha .12
- Capricorn/Sirio #7 plug
- Capricorn WCE clutch (dist. .4 / preload .5)
- 16/21 - 61/56
- Orion CRF Fuel (16%)
- Sirio EFRA2611 pipe (Vers. 2008 - legal)
- Novarossi INS Box

I used the 2611 for run in (had a 15min used one in my pit box). The 2648 and 2656 change the performance slightly towards the better side as we know from past tests...
So far is's looking very good...

I'm sorry...no news about the .21 .
I tested the 2008 vs 2009 Picco/CRF and pipes today...nearly the same huge step forward here. A little less torque, much better midrange, better top end.
But I've heard about some .21 being not that far away... ;-)
