For 3 days I was working on this old R40, with an over powered motor, to get ready for this last race. I even had a fresh paint job, supporting the newly re-opened CVEC. Had the truck packed by 6:30 am, expecting baby sitter by 7. About an hour drive to Superior, so I was looking good. Had my coffee, CHECK, Truck has gas, CHECK, remembered to get Sun Pass out of wifes car, CRAP... Now I gotta stop at her work to pick up the sun pass, no problem, 10 minutes out of the way, no big deal. I'll call Ken and tell him to sign me up, while driving a little faster.

7am rolls around, no baby sitter yet. Hmm, maybe the wife told her 7:30? I'll wait. 7:45 comes and goes, and no sitter?

Call wife and ask, WTF is with you baby sitter?

needless to say, baby sitter didn't answer her phone, till 8:30 am. I was too pissed off to bother at that point.

I swear, I'll get to race at Superior again, one of these times...

Great job getting the exposure, the hobby sure needs it....
