When using loctite clean all your screws and screw holes with acetone to remove any grease, oil or old loctite then use a small amount of blue Loctite only because Red will take 450 degrees of heat to remove a cured screw. You can use Loctite primer to shorten the cure time fron 24 hours to only one hour and if the fastners are plated you will need Loctite primer to get a greater holding power than 25% of the Locitites ablity. If you can not find any loctite primer acetone will work in a pinch, just apply a drop to a screw hole prior to inserting and tightening a screw
