I don't think using a y adapter will work for anyone as power will be fed to the receiver as well. I made a short extension so at least I'm not plugging it in and out of the receiver itself.

Maybe I can use the above, but with a switch that will disable the tekin rs harness when I need to use the hotwire with the adapter. Its such a pita as the tekin receiver plug is in the middle of channel 1(servo) and channel 3(transponder)
