On the third try, my Nihm started smoking, literally. Not only was it goodbye ESC it was goodbye $50 Nihm battery. I sent it back to Novak that same day. We'll see what happens.
I have to give kudos to Novak. They returned my Havoc Spec in six days. It looks like they gave me a new one with a new 120 day warranty. They even saved the deans plugs that I left on the old one. On the paperwork it said "multiple mosfets failure" and "motor not damaged". Fast and efficient warranty service, at no charge.
