This is a response from the President of Thunder Tech as to why it costs $85.
"Our original Outlaw chassis for the Stampede sold for $75 in G10 and $125 in Carbon Fiber. That was even a cheaper truck and we sold a bunch of those. A lot more thought went into this design that I think should warrent an extra 10."
I think about a lot of stuff but it doesn't mean I get paid extra for it.
Saw one of these kits on a truck last weekend, first lap a turnmarshall stepped on it untangling a typical slashrace pileup and broke both the upper and lower chassis plates. What a POS.
