I have the 2053 pipe setup running #5 GRP plugs with 30% Maxy's fuel. Jut when I think I get the right tune it just either runs flat on certain parts of the power band or just flames out. I'm gonna give it one more chance racing at Family Hobbies at Vineland, NJ. If it fails me, I'm going right back to my Novarossi's. It kinda sucks cuz I had high hopes for this engine from watching it perform last season. I even bought a second one as a back up.
definitely never heard of a grp liking a lean top and a rich bottom i mean never ever heard that before ....if your motor only has a gallon on it and still has good compression ...i would look elsewhere for the problem ....airleaks,glow plugs ,exhaust leaks , gas tank leaks, fuel filter leaks ...im just sayin ..the motors are good ...you may have other issues ....if you cant get it right and go back to nova rossis ...pm me i will buy your grp's ........the grp tuned is the best tuning and just best motor ive run ....
