Be careful - I've bought the "correct" alum shock caps for a Slash and they are too small for the shocks that came on my Slash. A wrap or two of teflon tape will make a diff, but the shock oils has got to be close to being right, if its too thick, teflon tape's not going to prevent the caps from popping off.
