It took me a while to recognize it as diff slip... with brushed motors, the sound of a slipping diff was different, like a high pitched screech, with the brushless, the sound was lower in pitch and nowhere near as loud... more like a grind or buzz kind of sound...
Its definately not the diff slipping. The motor will make the noise at about 1/4 throttle with the car on the stand free wheeling. I didnt take my laptop to the track with me so i couldnt try less timing boost. I'm wondering if its a timing issue or maybe something in the 1.89 software. I know they said a few other guys cars were doing the same thing last weekend (I wasnt there) and one of the guys is a very fast(well known) stock racer.
