Associated went with a narrower hub on the right side, and made the wider 4609 spacer to take up the extra room on the axle created by the narrower hub... CRC, IRS, and BMI made the hub narrower at the wheel mounting flange, but kept the same width at the bearing, so the standard width thrust cone still works.

If your 4609 doesn't have a lip on the wide side of the cone, you might want to try an IRS right side hub... that should let you run the 4555 that came in the 12R5 kit. I don't know if the IRS hub comes in blue tho...
