My 18th scale race pacs - 6 cell gp1100s and then last IB1400s before lipo - the matcher said 5 cycles at 1amp, then try 2amp and see how warm they got. If not too hot, try 2.5a and then 3a. Their advice was never charge at more than 3.5a.

Scottmisfits nailed it - we want a long lasting, level power delivery out of a rx pac, we don't need it to dump like we need a race pac where you charge at high rates. I always slow charged mine whern I had the time and got pretty good life out of them that way.
