+1, take your time and heat the hell out of it, don't hesitate to hit 240 or 250 on the first few cycle's, if your using a box it is vital to hit this heat range for breakin, the extra heat will save the rod in the long run, just keep the heat on it the entire time, and the rod will last for a good while, i have seen they have gone back to the old style version rod which is awesome, if i can be of any more help feel free to give me a call, they are tricky at first, but one you get it on the ground and get some of the pinch out, it get;s better.
