Can you point me in the direction to get started building up a roller RC10 goldpan for vintage racing or finding an RTR? Looking for a nice budget racer I can use normal shotgun packs with on a regular basis and not be worried about hard to find parts breaking. Not sure what I am up against or if it might be better to stick with newer models. I am curious about 2WD buggy class and I could get my kicks with a nice fun vintage rig. I may get rid of my oldschool vintage tamiyas to try it out but I may keep them and just save up a bit.
I recommend current models as pretty much any vintage car needs to be modded to use current 2.2 inch tires....If your gonna run old school, the aluminum pan RC10 is the way to go as the parts are easy to find. I'm sure we can find you something around the shop if want an old-schooler.

Kinda. That stupid car got around the track pretty good though. HA!
