It does have the 2-speed kit on it, but I could care less if has single speed or 2-speed. I'm going to give this car to my brother to learn with, so power and speed is not a concern. Reliability and price is the biggest thing. I have a NTC3 with an associated .12 and 2-speed and I've never had an issue with it. I was thinking about just about using an associated .12 or .15. Would it work/fit? I know many people would sugest an OS .18, but I would really like something without that much power and a little cheaper. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you want a pull start motor?..

if so, you can try this..

the older 15cv is a little cheaper..

just remember...you need a threaded long crankshaft( not a short shaft motor, or on SG-pilot shaft ) motor...and you need something with a rotary style carb...

OR....you can use the HPI engine exchange program and get a new style HPI motor for 65 bucks with an exchange
