As mentioned, with new engines, they are pretty tight. Try heating up the engine with a heat gun (or as a last resort, a hair dryer on high heat) for the first couple runs. After that it should be good to go on any starter box.
Thats what is so weird to me, the motor has about a gallon threw it now and I've raced it twice. So I know its broken in. The RTR drill starter has no problem turning it over (other than the shaft stripping out, anyone else have that problem?). I think the starter motor must not be in the best shape (thats what I get for buying a used one on ebay). I got so spoiled with the T-Maxx starting setup, it was so convenient. Any other ideas will help as I try to figure this out.

I think I'll try the loosening the glow plug idea. If I have to buy a motor, can anyone point me out were I can get a "super" starter motor to replace it with?
