Yeah I agree with you because I'm sure someone overseas sitting in a factory assembly line making 20cents an hour doesn't take the time to make sure it's 100% right. Like most if not all of these r/c's they are mfg'd in fast paced assembly lines. I love my losi vehicles but if I don't build it I go through it and check it out. It's just a routine I guess. I don't trust anyone else building it than me. I did find a couple things wrong with my T 2.0 today.
The center diff was leaking terrible
Swaybars were overtightened and wouldn't budge
Servo saver was basically as tight as can go
One of the shocks was leaking at the cap.
The kit was actually missing one of the servo mounting tabs that the screws thread into in the radio tray.
One of the servo saver post screws had a ton of locktite on it while the other had grease on it....lol.....yup grease!
That's what I found by tearing it down today. So I definitely know what your feeling. It's called a race roller but I'd say it's about 90% race ready out of the box.
