What they are saying is wrap the cut in Elec tape and then get a large piece of Shrink tube and slide it over the 6.5mm connector "thats plugged into the ESC", and shrink it over where you taped it.
Personally I would replace the wire
These things cost to much to play around with frayed wires
in that case i take it back. they are reading the question correctly but i am not reading the answer correct
however, since i suck at soldering, how do i replace the wire?
