I would NOT recommend anything epoxy resin based like the JB Weld.
First, that stuff gets hard and even brittle, which does not go along well with the vibrations of a nitro engine.
Second, I used JB weld to repair and reinforce exhaust stingers and the stuff got soft quickly and lost adhesion, obviously caused by the fuel.
